FIRE WEATHER ZONES 014 AND 027...

The National Weather Service in San Juan has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect until 6 PM AST this evening. 

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 014 and 027.

* WIND...17-20 mph frequent gusts possible between 25 to 30 mph.

* HUMIDITY...RH values ranging between 35-50% in some areas.
 
* THUNDERSTORMS...None.

* KBDI...Already at or exceeding critical threshold in some 
  areas.

* 10-HR Fuel Moisture...expected to range between 8-10 percent in
  some areas. 
 
* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. 
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
