The causeways to Saint Simons island and Sea Island may become impassable due to high water for one to two hours on either side of the high tide overnight tonight and more likely on Saturday morning. Camden County...Moderate to major flooding. Flooding of 1 to 2 feet AGL in portions of the City of St Marys within 1 to 2 blocks of the marshes and other low lying roadways close to marsh areas. The causeway into Point Peter may flood near the time of high tide tonight and again on Saturday morning. Nassau County...Moderate to major flooding. Flooding of 1 to 2 feet AGL in the Egans creek and Jean Lafitte Blvd and Drive areas, Near Tiger Point Marina, the Fernandina Harbor Marina area and Front Street extending possibly a block or two inland, as well as low lying areas near Bonnieview Rd. Low lying areas on the Intracoastal side of the island south of Amelia Island Golf Club and the approaches to the Nassau Sound Bridge as well as Piney Island. Duval County...Major flooding is expected along the immediate oceanfront with large dangerous surf breaking against the dune line. Other than in lower portions of the dune most flooding from the ocean side is expected east of the dune line. Moderate flooding on the rivers and Intracoastal waterway. Water level inundation of 1 to 2 feet above ground level flooding is possible in the lowest areas along the Intracoastal Waterway, Heckscher Drive east of Blount Island, The Southampton Neighborhood and other areas that are normally prone to coastal flooding. St Johns County...Major Flooding along the oceanfront with large breaking waves pounding against the dune line. Moderate coastal flooding of 1 to 2 feet above ground level in the Davis Shores, Porpoise Point, City of St Augustine, Butler Beach ICWW neighborhoods, Crescent Beach ICWW neighborhoods, and Treasure Beach. In addition to the coastal flooding, heavy rainfall flooding may combine with the coastal flooding to increase water depths in these areas. Over wash is possible in Summerhaven in the southern sections especially after several high tide cycles. Due to the recent renourishment project in that area, it is unlikely a cut will form with this event. Flagler County...Moderate coastal flooding with large waves breaking against the dune lines and along AIA in Flagler Beach. Coastal flooding along the Intracoastal Waterway of 1 to 2 feet water level inundation above ground level in areas that normally flood such as Surfside Estates and near South Flagler Ave. Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure will be inundated. Some shoreline erosion will occur.
