PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Forecast includes rainfall on the ground and 24 hours of additional 
rainfall.

* From late tonight to Thursday evening.
* At 8:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 18.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to crest at 19.0 feet just after 
  midnight tonight.
* Impact...At 19.0 feet, Water begins to spread into agricultural 
  lands along the river. Equipment and livestock should be removed.

* At 9:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.2 feet.

* Forecast...The river crested just below flood stage around 11pm 
  last night and is expected to continue falling through tomorrow 
  evening.  Rainfall on Friday and Friday evening will produce a 
  crest of 16.7 feet early Saturday morning.
