Eastern Jones County in southeastern Mississippi...
* Until 600 PM CDT.
* At 255 PM CDT, emergency management reported widespread street
flooding from thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Laurel.
Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen in the area, and flash
flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Emergency management.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.
