Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...Illinois...
White River at Elliston.
Wabash River at Montezuma and Terre Haute.
.Minor flooding is expected on the Wabash and White Rivers starting
by late tomorrow. Rainfall of 2 to 3 inches fell across central
Indiana since last night. This has allowed flooding to reoccur along
the rivers. An additional half to one inch of rain is expected
through midweek.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 17.5 feet Wednesday evening. It
will then fall below flood stage late Friday evening.

Illinois...
White River, Wabash River.
.Minor flooding remains on the Wabash River in western Indiana in
the Riverton and Hutsonville areas. Minor flooding is expected to
redevelop this week at Montezuma and Terre Haute along the same
waterway. Flooding is also expected at Elliston on the White River
in southwest Indiana, Tuesday night.
Rainfall of up to 2 to 3 inches fell across central Indiana since
last night. Up to an additional half inch of rain is expected
through midweek followed by dry conditions into the weekend.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending

* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.3 feet
Saturday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday
afternoon.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet, Extensive lowland flooding is in progress.
High water surrounds many river cabins. Access to most river
cabins is by boat only. Levees begin to protect farmland.
Extensive flooding of Leaverton Park occurs in Palestine, Illinois.

through midweek followed by dry conditions into the weekend. While
flooding at a few sites along the White and Wabash Rivers is no
longer a concern, additional sites along the Wabash are expected to
stay above flood stage until the end of the week.
