...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
Illinois...

  Sugar Creek, Youngs Creek, Wildcat Creek, Mississinewa River,  
  Driftwood River, East Fork White River, Mill Creek, White River,  
  Wabash River, and Eel River.

.Flooding is developing along main stem rivers in central Indiana 
due to rainfall of one to well over two inches from Wednesday 
through Thursday. Dry weather through the weekend and into next week 
will allow waters to recede with time. Flooding will end along 
northern parts of the basins by the end of the weekend. Flooding 
will continue along lower portions of the White, East Fork White and 
Wabash until the middle of next week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

  the Sugar Creek near Edinburgh.
* Until Saturday morning.
* At 2:00 PM EDT Friday the stage was 10.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending 
  at 2:00 PM EDT Friday was 10.8 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.1 feet 
  this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just after 
  midnight tonight.
* Impact...At 11.0 feet, In Johnson county, CR 400 S east of US 31, 
  CR 725 E north of CR 400 S and Greensburg Road from CR 700 E to CR 
  800 E are closed by flood waters.  Low agricultural land is 
  flooded.  A few homes and outbuildings surrounded by high water.  
  At least one residential unit would flood if water rose another 1 
  to 2 feet.

* Impact...At 9.0 feet, Johnson County Roads 350 S and 400 S west of 
  US 31 are closed by flood waters.  Upstream in Youngs Creek 
  watershed, flooding of city of Franklin parks with flood waters 
  possibly 3 feet deep in some areas.  CR 200 N at CR 75 W on 
  northwest side of Franklin and CR 250 S west of US 31 closed by 
  high water.   Amity ditch is out of its banks.

  of River Road just east of SR 1 and north of the river.  Water is 
  within a few feet vertically of the approaches to SR 1 bridge in 
  western Randolph county.

* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this 
  evening to a crest of 20.4 feet early Thursday morning. It will 
  then fall below flood stage Saturday, March 27.
* Impact...At 20.5 feet, County Road 250 West from State Road 56 
  floods and blocks the vehicle access to Dodge City.  During the 
  March 2008 flood the river remained above this level from late 
  afternoon March 19 through April 9.   As mid-March 2011 high water 
  was receding...SR 257 south of Washington reopened when Shoals was 
  at 10.5 feet and falling steadily for the past 2 days.

  higher land.  Seep water is noticeable behind levees.  Some 
  elevated river cottages are surrounded by water.  Several county 
  or township roads east of Lincoln Heritage Trail between Palestine 
  and Hutsonville in Crawford County Illinois are impassable.

.Flooding is developing along main stem rivers in central Indiana 
due to rainfall of one to well over two inches from Wednesday 
through Thursday. Dry weather through the weekend and into next week 
will allow waters to recede with time. Flooding will end along 
northern parts of the basins by the end of the weekend. Flooding 
will continue along lower portions of the White, East Fork White and 
Wabash until the middle of next week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
