  White River at Elliston affecting Greene, Daviess and Knox 
  Counties.

  White River at Spencer affecting Greene, Owen and Monroe Counties.

.Rainfall amounts of around 2 inches across central Indiana will 
produce minor flooding along the White River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late 
  Wednesday evening to a crest of 14.7 feet early Thursday 
  afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Friday 
  morning.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet, Lowland flooding begins in the Spencer and 
  Gosport areas.  The river begins to backup Rattlesnake, Fall, 
  McCormicks, Limestone, Big, and Bean Blossom Creeks.  Spencer 
  Public Access site begins to flood.

  Hutsonville begin to flood.  Agricultural flooding spreads to 
  higher land.  Seep water is noticeable behind levees.  Some 
  elevated river cottages are surrounded by water.  Several county 
  or township roads east of Lincoln Heritage Trail between Palestine 
  and Hutsonville in Crawford County Illinois are impassable.

  at 10:30 AM CDT Tuesday /11:30 AM EDT Tuesday/ was 18.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to 20.4 feet early Thursday 
  afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Monday evening 
  to 12.8 feet and begin rising again Thursday, November 04. It will 
  rise to 13.1 feet Thursday, November 04. It will then fall again 
  and remain below flood stage.
* Impact...At 20.5 feet, Residential property of about 50 river 
  cabins begin to flood.  North Lake and Izaak Walton Areas near 
  West Terre Haute begin to flood.  Flooding closes more county

* Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early 
  tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 6.0 feet Sunday morning.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet, Flood waters close Edgewood Park and Grand 
  Avenue between Alexandria Pike and Broadway.  If river is rising 
  at this level, the City of Anderson notifies residents along 
  Hazlett Street, near W 1st Street and Madison Avenue, near W 2nd 
  Street and Sycamore Street, and along Riverside Drive to prepare 
  for sandbagging operations and possible evacuations.

  High water surrounds many river cabins.  Access to most river 
  cabins is by boat only.  Levees begin to protect farmland.

* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending 
  at 9:45 PM EDT Thursday was 21.2 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to 21.3 feet early Saturday 
  morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Thursday 
  morning to 12.7 feet and begin rising again Friday, November 05. 
  It will rise to 12.9 feet Saturday, November 06. It will then fall 
  again and remain below flood stage.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet, Park in southern Montezuma begins to 
  flood.  Higher bottomlands begin to flood.  Water backs up most 
  local tributaries.  River water is at the top of some private

  White River at Spencer down to Elliston, and the White River at 
Edwardsport.

  Wabash River at Lafayette down to Riverton.
.Widespread rainfall totals across central Indiana...of 1 to 3 inches
since last weekend...as well as additional rainfall totals of up to 
0.75 inches since early Thursday...are expected to continue minor 
flooding through next week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.
