...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...
Wabash River at Lafayette and Covington.
.Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches fell across central Indiana over
the past couple of days and will produce minor flooding along
portions of the Wabash River. River flooding should begin as early
as tonight near Lafayette and by late tomorrow for points downstream.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The next statement should be issued late tonight by around 1200 AM
EDT.

tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 16.5 feet tomorrow evening. It
will then fall below flood stage Monday morning.
* Impact...At 16.0 feet, Low agricultural lands begin to flood.
Backyard flooding of cottages on right bank starts a short
distance upstream of gage. Critical stage of Young-Neal Levee is
reached.

Vermillion Counties.
.Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches fell across central Indiana
earlier this week and will produce minor flooding along portions of
the Wabash River. Minor river flooding begun near Lafayette earlier
today and is expected to start tomorrow for points downstream.
