...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a 
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...

  White River

.Rainfall of 1 to nearly 3 inches of rain have fallen across much of 
the eastern half of central Indiana through Wednesday morning. Over 
2 inches of additional rainfall is possible across parts of the 
area. This will lead to minor river flooding along the White River 
north and east of Indianapolis. River flooding is expected to begin 
Thursday morning. Flooding may end on Saturday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

* Flood Warning for
  the White River at Noblesville.
* From Thursday morning to late Saturday morning.
* At 10:45 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 4.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage 
  tomorrow morning to a crest of 17.1 feet early Friday morning. It 
  will then fall below flood stage late Friday evening.
* Impact...At 17.0 feet, Extensive flooding occurs in both Riverbend 
  and White River campgrounds.  High water affects two businesses 
  near SR 19 on the west side of Noblesville.  Roads in residential 
  areas of Riverwood, Clare, and Strawtown begin to flood.  Flooding 
  of roads begins in residential areas of Trails End near E 116th 
  Street, near East 146th Street, and in gravel pit areas along the 
  White River from East 96th Street north to Noblesville.

  the White River at Anderson.
* From Thursday morning to early Saturday afternoon.
* At 11:30 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 4.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late 
  tomorrow morning to a crest of 13.7 feet early Friday morning. It 
  will then fall below flood stage early Saturday morning.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet, Extensive flooding of all city parks.  The 
  lowest areas of Irondale begin to flood.  West 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 
  N Sycamore Streets flood in northern Anderson.  Manhole at 
  Athletic Park behind pool begins to overflow.  Killbuck Creek 
  overflows into Aqua Gardens/Shadyside Lake closing off walking 
  paths around lakes.

* Flood stage is 6.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise to 3.5 feet just after midnight 
  tonight. It will then fall to 3.1 feet and begin rising again 
  tomorrow morning. It will rise above flood stage tomorrow evening 
  and continue to rise to 7.2 feet early Friday afternoon. It will 
  then fall below flood stage Saturday morning.
* Impact...At 7.0 feet, Water surrounds homes in River Edge 
  Estates.  A few streets flood in Ravenswood.

* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise to 7.4 feet just after midnight 
  tonight. It will then fall to 7.0 feet and begin rising again 
  tomorrow morning. It will rise above flood stage tomorrow evening 
  and continue to rise to 12.3 feet early Friday afternoon. It will 
  then fall below flood stage early Saturday morning.
* Impact...At 12.5 feet, East 77th Street near Mystic Bay begins to 
  flood.

  White River at Noblesville, Anderson, Ravenswood, and Nora.

.Widespread rainfall of 1 to 3 inches has fallen across the area 
since Tuesday. The heavier rain has ended. Minor flooding is 
expected along Young Creek near Amity into Thursday evening. 
Flooding is no longer expected along the White River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

  the Youngs Creek at Amity.
* Until early Friday morning.
* At 9:15 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 8.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending 
  at 9:15 PM EDT Wednesday was 8.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 8.7 feet 
  late tonight. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening.
* Impact...At 9.0 feet, Johnson County Roads 350 S and 400 S west of 
  US 31 are closed by flood waters.  Upstream in Youngs Creek 
  watershed, flooding of city of Franklin parks with flood waters 
  possibly 3 feet deep in some areas.  CR 200 N at CR 75 W on 
  northwest side of Franklin and CR 250 S west of US 31 closed by 
  high water.   Amity ditch is out of its banks.
