Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...
East Fork White River near Bedford.
East Fork White River at Williams.
.Minor flooding is expected to begin on the East Fork of the White
River at Bedford and Williams Tuesday evening. The river at Bedford
is expected to crest at 21.9 feet Thursday morning, and 9.4 feet
Thursday afternoon at Williams. Minor flooding is expected to
continue into Saturday.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

submerged Pottsville Road. Oil stripped fields flood. Flood gates

* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending

early Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early
Monday morning.
* Impact...At 20.5 feet, County Road 250 West from State Road 56
floods and blocks the vehicle access to Dodge City. During the
March 2008 flood the river remained above this level from late
afternoon March 19 through April 9. As mid-March 2011 high water
was receding...SR 257 south of Washington reopened when Shoals was
at 10.5 feet and falling steadily for the past 2 days.

Seymour through Wednesday morning...with minor flooding expected to
begin at Rivervale tonight. Minor flooding is expected to continue
into Saturday along lower portions of the East Fork of the White
River.
.Minor flooding will continue on the White River from Elliston down
to Hazleton. On Monday evening the White River was cresting at
Edwardsport. Minor flooding expected to continue through Monday
July 26 on lower portions of the White River.

East Fork of White River flood plain flood. Flooding of
agricultural land becomes extensive. The county road on northside

* Impact...At 20.0 feet, Most of the low bottomlands flood. Flooding
begins in higher bottomlands. High water affects any residents in
Pottsville river cabins. Pottsville Road...North C Street on river
side of railroad tracks and Catt Street near U.S. Highway 41 are
flooded. Water is near or starting on Giro Road in the vicinity of
submerged Pottsville Road. Oil stripped fields flood. Flood gates
must be installed at Hazleton.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
East Fork White River near Bedford and at Williams.
.Minor flooding continues along the lower portions of the White and
East Fork White Rivers. Both rivers have crested with levels
expected to continue falling. Flooding is expected to end along the
East Fork White on Saturday...and the White River on Sunday. Dry
weather is expected through Friday...with low chances for rain this
weekend. No additional flooding is expected at this time.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
