Flood Warning for the following river in Indiana...
White River.
.The latest rounds of heavy rain are expected to push the White
River over its banks by late Friday evening at and near Edwardsport
and Elliston in southwest Indiana. Crests are expected to be up to
nearly 3 feet above flood stage. Flooding is forecast to end late
Monday, July 5.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage early tomorrow
afternoon to 20.9 feet Saturday evening. It will then fall below
flood stage early Monday morning to 14.0 feet and begin rising
again Monday evening. It will rise to 14.1 feet early Tuesday
morning. It will then fall again and remain below flood stage.
* Impact...At 21.0 feet, Eastern portion of CR 100 S in Greene

* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early
Saturday morning to a crest of 17.7 feet Sunday morning. It will
then fall below flood stage Monday evening.
* Impact...At 17.5 feet, Flooding closes Old Vincennes Road. High
water crosses SR 358 on the Daviess County side just west of the
levee. Flooding begins to affect higher bottomlands. Residential

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...

Wabash River, White River.
.Minor lowland flooding continues on portions of the Wabash River
from Montezuma southward as a result of recent heavy rainfall. The
latest rounds of heavy rain, which fell Wednesday night and Thursday
morning, will keep flooding going longer along this stretch of the
Wabash as well as likely push the White River into flood at Elliston
and Edwardsport by late Friday evening. Flooding is expected to
last as long late evening Tuesday, July 6.
Dry weather is predicted to last through Tuesday morning.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

from Montezuma southward as a result of recent heavy rainfall. The
crest of the Wabash is just downstream of Montezuma this morning and
should reach Terre Haute Saturday morning. On the White, flooding is
expected to develop at Elliston and Edwardsport later today, with
the crest at Elliston Saturday morning.
Dry weather is forecast to last through Tuesday morning.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

.Minor lowland flooding continues on portions of the Wabash River
from Montezuma southward as a result of recent heavy rainfall. The
crest of the Wabash is just past Terre Haute this morning, and on
the White, the crest is approaching Elliston.
Dry weather is forecast to last through Tuesday morning.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
