  Central Coles County in east central Illinois...
  Southeastern Moultrie County in central Illinois...
  Southeastern Douglas County in east central Illinois...

* Until 1030 PM CST.
    
* At 955 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Mattoon, moving northeast at 80 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Charleston and Humboldt around 1005 PM CST.
  Rardin around 1010 PM CST.
  Oakland and Hindsboro around 1015 PM CST.

The tornadic thunderstorm which prompted the warning continues and 
has intensified. The original warning has been cancelled, however a 
Damaging Tornado Warning has been issued to upgrade it.  

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CST for central and
east central Illinois.

Remember, a Tornado Warning still remains in effect for 
portions of Coles and Douglas Counties.
