  Allen County in southeastern Kansas...

* Until 645 PM CDT.

* At 532 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Colony, or 8
  miles north of Iola, moving southeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 
           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to 
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

FOR ALLEN COUNTY...

At 601 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Iola, moving 
southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Emergency management. At 554 PM, numerous trees were 
         reported down in Iola, including a wind gust of 59 mph at 
         the Iola Airport.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to 
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
