* At 1128 PM CDT, a tornado producing storm was located 10 miles
south of Cherokee, or 12 miles east of Tishomingo State Park,
moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Damaging tornado.
SOURCE...Radar confirmed tornado.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

CENTRAL LAUDERDALE AND CENTRAL COLBERT COUNTIES...
At 1138 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 7 miles southeast of Cherokee, or 9 miles west of
Tuscumbia, moving northeast at 55 mph. This storm has a history of
rapidly producing tornadoes.
