* At 551 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1
hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

At 716 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated showers that produced heavy
rain across much of Franklin County have moved east of the area.
However runoff from the recent rainfall continues a flash flooding
threat. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
