and Airport Road have been closed due to flooding. Between 3 and 6
inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing and will
become worse over the next few hours.

DEKALB AND CENTRAL MARSHALL COUNTIES...
At 1129 PM CDT, Emergency management and river gauges reported
flooding, mainly across DeKalb County. Flooding is most serious in
the Fort Payne area, but stream gauges in the Rainsville area
indicate flooding possible there as well. Between 3 and 6 inches of
rain have fallen.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Albertville, Fort Payne, Boaz, Guntersville, Arab, Rainsville,
Crossville, Sylvania, Fyffe, Geraldine, Valley Head, Hammondville,
Mentone, Pine Ridge, Lakeview, Chigger Hill, Hopewell, Skirum,
