Northeastern Houston County in southeastern Texas...
* Until 1115 PM CDT.
* At 1027 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Elkhart, or
11 miles southeast of Palestine, moving southeast at 30 mph. This
severe thunderstorm has a history of producing hail up to quarter
size.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

FOR NORTHEASTERN HOUSTON COUNTY...
At 1101 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles northeast
of Grapeland, or 18 miles north of Crockett, moving east at 25 mph.
This severe thunderstorm has a history of producing hail up to
quarter size in Anderson County. However, a weakening trend has been
noted on radar, and if this trend continues the warning will be
allowed to expire as scheduled at 1115 PM CDT.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN HOUSTON COUNTY
WILL EXPIRE AT 1115 PM CDT...
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened to just below
severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or
property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However
small hail and frequent lightning are still possible with this
thunderstorm.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
southeastern Texas.
