* At 118 PM HST, the Hanalei River gage reported a rapid rise in 
  water level. Flooding is occurring near the Hanalei River bridge 
  and other nearby drainages.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

  SOURCE...Stream Gauges.

  IMPACT...Flooding in drainages, streams, rivers, roads,
           properties, and other low-lying areas. Public road
           closures possible in some areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Hanalei, Princeville, Kilauea, Omao, Wainiha, Wailua, Kokee State 
  Park, Haena, Koloa, Na Pali State Park, Moloaa, and Anahola.

AFTERNOON FOR THE ISLAND OF KAUAI IN KAUAI COUNTY...

At 225 PM HST, the Hanalei River gage reported a rapid rise in water 
level. Flooding is occurring near the Hanalei River bridge and other 
nearby drainages. The stretch of Kuhio Highway leading to the 
Hanalei River has been closed by the Kauai Police Department.
