...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents.

* WHERE...East facing reefs of the Marianas.

* WHEN...Through 6 PM today.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away 
  from shore into deeper water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the 
current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If 
unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.

...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK IS NO LONGER HIGH...

Latest buoy data, surf observations, and wave model trends indicate 
surf has eased below 9 feet along east facing reefs. Therefore, the
rip risk is no longer high. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Continue to exercise caution along reef lines facing exposed to
easterly trade swell as strong rip currents are still possible.
