* At 602 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles east of
  Uptown Charlotte, or over East Charlotte, moving northeast at 10
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
