...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT MARINETTE COUNTY...

At 319 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Crivitz, or 18 
miles west of Menominee, moving east at 25 mph. Additional storms 
were just occurring a little farther north in the Wausaukee area.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Marinette, Crivitz, Wausaukee, Pound, Peshtigo, Porterfield, Beaver,
Middle Inlet, Amberg and Coleman.

This includes U.S. Highway 41 between mile markers 210 and 219.
 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

If you are on inland lakes in the area get out of the water and move 
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 
10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you
