Southwestern Cheyenne County in east central Colorado...
* Until 545 PM MDT.
* At 520 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 9 miles southwest of Kit Carson, or 32 miles west of
Cheyenne Wells, moving southwest at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and hail up to two inches in diameter.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

southwestern Cheyenne County in east central Colorado.

At 531 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 11 miles southwest of Kit Carson, or 33 miles west of
Cheyenne Wells, moving southwest at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and two inch hail.
SOURCE...Weather spotters reported a funnel cloud.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
