The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Yavapai County in west central Arizona...

* Until 715 PM MST.

* At 412 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain east of Camp Verde. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain have 
  fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible 
  in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Life-threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life-threatening flash flooding of low-water
           crossings, creeks, normally dry washes and roads.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 PM MST THIS 
EVENING FOR YAVAPAI COUNTY...

At 615 PM MST, National Weather Service Flagstaff Doppler radar 
indicated that rainfall has ended in Camp Verde and areas to the 
south along the Verde River.

As much as 5 inches of rain fell earlier in the day. Reports of 
minor street flooding, wash flooding, flooding of poorly drained 
areas and rocks on SR260 were received by the National Weather 
Service.

The Verde River south of Camp Verde rose 5.6 feet at 445 PM MST.

Area creeks, streams and washes are likely still running high.  

HAZARD...Life-threatening flash flooding.

Flash Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat and the Flash 
Flood Warning will be allowed to expire.

Area creeks, streams and washes are likely still running high in the 
Camp Verde area, as well as downstream sites south of Camp Verde. 
Please continue to heed remaining road closures.

A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 500 AM MST Wednesday for 
portions of east central Arizona and west central Arizona.
