...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF DEKALB, GWINNETT,
WEST CENTRAL CLARKE, SOUTHWESTERN JACKSON, NORTH CENTRAL NEWTON,
ROCKDALE, NORTHWESTERN OCONEE, BARROW, NORTH CENTRAL MORGAN,
SOUTHEASTERN COBB, NORTHWESTERN HENRY, WALTON, CENTRAL FULTON AND
NORTHERN CLAYTON COUNTIES THROUGH 730 PM EDT...

At 718 PM EDT...a line of strong thunderstorms was along a line
extending from near Good Hope to Forest Park...and moving northwest
at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Up to 40 mph wind...frequent cloud to ground lightning and 
         heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of 
         light...unsecured objects. Heavy rain may cause temporary 
         street flooding especially in poor drainage areas.

Atlanta, Lawrenceville, Decatur, Conyers, Winder, Monroe, Jefferson,
Sandy Springs, Smyrna, Dunwoody, East Point, Duluth, Forest Park,
Snellville, Riverdale, College Park, Lilburn, Loganville, Chamblee
and Norcross.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder...you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Motorists
should slow down and be prepared for possible loss of control due to
hydroplaning.
