* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this morning to a crest of 16.1 feet this evening. It will then
fall below flood stage late Saturday morning.
* Impact...At 16 feet, Minor flooding begins. Pasture and fields
upstream...right and left bank from the Keiths Mill Road bridge...
and downstream on the left bank begin to flood.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Ocmulgee River near Abbeville.
* From Saturday morning until further notice.
* At 2:45 PM EST Friday the stage was 11.6 feet, and rising.
* Flood stage is 12 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast to develop.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
Saturday morning and continue rising, reaching around 12.9 feet
Tuesday evening. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
* Impact...At 12 feet, flood Stage is reached and minor flooding of
the lowlands adjacent to the river begins. The water level reaches
the top of the Abbeville boat ramp and also begins to flood the
nearby park.
* Impact...At 13 feet, minor flooding of the lowlands adjacent to
the river continue to expand into the flood plain. Flooding of the
nearby park and parking lot at the Abbeville boat ramp also
expands.
