...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHWESTERN DEWITT AND SOUTHERN
KARNES COUNTIES UNTIL 700 PM CDT...
At 630 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Weser to 6 miles southwest of Kenedy.
These storms were nearly stationary.
Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea sized hail will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Kenedy, Karnes City, Yorktown, Runge, Nordheim, Cotton Patch, El Oso,
Zunkerville, Choate and Meyersville.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
