Southern Dona Ana County in south central New Mexico...
Northwestern El Paso County in western Texas...
* Until 700 PM MDT.
* At 352 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already
occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Doppler radar and automated gauges.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
West El Paso, Central El Paso, Northeast El Paso, Sunland Park,
Fort Bliss, Biggs Field and Franklin Mountains State Park.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the
warned area.

area. The Flash Flood Warning will be allowed to expire at 7PM MDT.
A Flood Advisory will remain in effect until 745 PM for lingering
flooding impacts including any standing water on roadways.
