The National Weather Service in Dodge City has cancelled the Red Flag Warning. Critical fire weather conditions are no longer expected this afternoon due to a lower wind speed forecast. We now expect south winds to range 10 to 15 mph with infrequent gusts around 20 mph, which is below the wind speed threshold of 25 mph for critical conditions.
