At 721 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over North Cheyenne, or near Cheyenne, moving east at 5 mph. Nickel size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this storm. Locations impacted include... Cheyenne, North Cheyenne, Ranchettes and Warren AFB. This includes Interstate 25 in Wyoming between mile markers 13 and 25. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
