* At 726 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 10 miles southeast of Red Cloud Campground to near
Box Butte Dam to 7 miles west of Hemingford to near Flahertys
Corner, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

FOR BOX BUTTE...SOUTHERN DAWES AND EAST CENTRAL SIOUX COUNTIES...
At 734 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 11 miles southeast of Red Cloud Campground to near Box
Butte Dam to 6 miles west of Hemingford to near Flahertys Corner,
moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 730 PM MDT, a wind gust to 72
MPH was measured 6 miles east southeast of Box Butte Dam.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

extending from 8 miles southeast of Red Cloud Campground to 9 miles
east of Box Butte Dam to near Hemingford, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. These storms have a history of
producing very strong winds in excess of 70 MPH.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
