In southeast South Carolina, Allendale, Beaufort, Coastal Jasper, Hampton, and Inland Jasper. * from 4 PM EST this afternoon through late tonight * Rounds of moderate the heavy rainfall will develop late this afternoon and continue through much of the night. Rainfall amounts are expected to range from 1.5 to 2.5 inches, with locally higher amounts possible. In addition, portions of inland Georgia and South Carolina may have saturated soil from recent rainfall. * Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks and inundate fields, roads, businesses and other property. Roads may be closed and dirt roads could washout. In addition, flooding will be most likely during the night, making detection of flooding difficult for motorist.
