...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT WEST CENTRAL HANCOCK
AND SOUTHWESTERN PENOBSCOT COUNTIES...

At 1220 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Newport to near Pittsfield to near
Clinton. Movement was southeast at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Bangor, Old Town, Bucksport, Newport, Orono, Brewer, Hampden, Hermon,
Corinth, Veazie, Dedham, Castine, Kenduskeag, Verona Island,
Penobscot Township, Glenburn, Orrington, Holden, Levant and Carmel.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 95 between mile markers 157 and 192.
 US Highway 1 near Orland.
 State Highway 11 between Newport and Corinna.
