...AN AREA OF HEAVY SNOW WILL AFFECT PARTS OF OSWEGO AND LEWIS
COUNTIES...

HAZARDS...An area of heavy snow which can rapidly reduce visibility 
to less than a half of a mile. This area of heavy snow is producing 
heavy snow at the rate of at least 1 inch per hour.

LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 753 AM EDT, an area of heavy snow was 7
miles northwest of Redfield, or 13 miles east of Sandy Island Beach
State Park moving east at 15 MPH.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
Pulaski, Redfield, Selkirk Shores State Park, Whetstone Gulf State
Park, Highmarket, Hastings, Richland, Mexico, Williamstown, Orwell,
Sandy Creek, Lacona, Parish, Altmar, Osceola, Smartville, Amboy
Center, Howardville, Salmon River Reservoir and Kasoag.

This includes Interstate 81 between exits 33 and 37.

difficult for the road crews to keep the roads clear. This will be 
especially the case across higher terrain locations.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
