...Heavy downpours resulting in slower morning commute...
Moderate, to at times, heavy rain will continue across portions of
Lewis into Jefferson county through mid morning. Up to 1.5 inches of
rain has fallen in some areas. Expect additional rainfall up to 1
inch in the more persistent showers. Expect ponding of water on
roads and in poor drainage and low-lying areas. If you come across
flooded roads, find another route. Turn around and don't drown!
