...AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN WILL AFFECT SOUTHWESTERN 
LEWIS AND EAST CENTRAL OSWEGO COUNTIES...

At 1025 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 7 miles southeast 
of Redfield, or 9 miles north of Camden. The storm is nearly 
stationary and additional storms are building to the west behind 
this initial storm.

Locations impacted include...
Redfield, Osceola, Salmon River Reservoir and Swancott Mill. 

Torrential rainfall are occurring with these storms, and may cause 
localized flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Do not 
drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
