...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT WYOMING...NORTHERN
CATTARAUGUS...SOUTHEASTERN ERIE...LIVINGSTON...ALLEGANY AND SOUTH
CENTRAL GENESEE COUNTIES...
At 645 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Pavilion to 6 miles southwest of
Ashford Hollow. Movement was east at 35 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with these
storms.
Locations impacted include...
Geneseo, Dansville, Wellsville, Letchworth State Park, Springville,
Alfred, Perry, Warsaw, Bennington, Mount Morris, Gowanda, Attica,
Pavilion, Conesus, Ashford, Arcade, Franklinville, Belfast, Cuba and
Rushford.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 390 between exits 4 and 8.
Interstate 86 between exits 28 and 33.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
