...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN ERIE AND SOUTHWESTERN 
NIAGARA COUNTIES...

At 854 PM EST, a swath of moderate to briefly heavy lake effect snow 
with snowfall rates up to 1 inch per hour and visibility less than 
one-half mile extended from near Niagara Falls across the Buffalo 
Metro northtowns, across Depew and Lancaster, and into eastern 
portions of Erie County, including Elma and East Aurora. The area of 
moderate lake effect snow was drifting southeast.

Buffalo, Cheektowaga, West Seneca, North Tonawanda, Kenmore, Depew,
Amherst, Tonawanda, Lancaster, East Aurora, Williamsville, Grand
Island, Elma, Marilla, Alden, Wales Center, Sanborn, Elma Center,
Billington Heights and Pendleton Center.

 This includes Interstate 90 between exits 52A and 49.
 
Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be 
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra 
time when traveling.
