...SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT...

At 229 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Mcauliffe Elementary School, or over North McAllen, moving northeast
at 10 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Edinburg, Mission, Pharr, San Juan, Hidalgo, Palmview, Palmhurst,
North McAllen, Sharyland and South McAllen.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
