...LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS MOVING THROUGH CENTRAL CONNECTICUT...

At 721 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along 
a line extending from Ashford to Farmington. Movement was east at 35 
mph.

Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will accompany these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Hartford, New Britain, West Hartford, Bristol, Manchester, East
Hartford, Southington, Glastonbury, Newington, Vernon, Windsor,
Wethersfield, Mansfield, South Windsor, Farmington, Windham,
Plainfield, Simsbury, Bloomfield and Berlin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Get indoors when these storms approach. Winds may be strong enough to
produce minor damage, such as a few downed branches.

Frequent lightning was occurring. Lightning can strike far away from
