West Central Tolland County in northern Connecticut...
* Until 200 AM EDT Thursday.
* At 757 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated mainly moderate intensity
rain across much of Hartford County. Torrential rain was observed
across southern New York and this will move into the warned area.
Between 1 to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen in the warned area,
and additional rainfall amounts of up to 4 inches are possible.
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly as
torrential rain overspreads the area.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

moderate flood and continued to rise. In addition, the Burlington
and Bunnell Brook is rising and approaching moderate flood and
rising. This is dangerous situation especially at night.
Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall
amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
flash flooding.
