...COASTAL FLOOD STATEMENT IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM THIS MORNING TO
3 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level 
  expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal 
  waterways (10.3 to 12.2 feet Mean Lower Low Water).

* WHERE...Suffolk MA, Eastern Essex MA, Eastern Norfolk MA and 
  Eastern Plymouth MA Counties.

* WHEN...From 9 AM this morning to 3 PM EDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Minor coastal flooding is expected along the North 
  Shore from Gloucester to Newburyport. Wave action will likely 
  cause some washover onto coastal roads around the time of high 
  tide.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive through flooded roadways.
