At 314 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Low Gap to near New West Greene. Movement was south at 20 mph. Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms. Locations impacted include... Eutaw, Greensboro, Moundville, Akron, Boligee, Union, Gainesville, Epes, West Greene, Thornhill, Low Gap, Mertz, Sawyerville, Knoxville, Walden Quarters, Heiberger, Wedgeworth, Greensboro Municipal Airport, New West Greene and Mantua. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
