now in effect for the Tombigbee River.

* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage this afternoon to
122.2 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage tomorrow morning to 121.5 feet and begin rising again
Monday morning. It will rise above flood stage again late Monday
morning and continue to rise to 122.5 feet Tuesday morning. It
will then fall below flood stage again Tuesday evening.
* Impact...At 122 feet, Cattle in low-lying areas of Southern
Pickens County should be moved to higher ground. Cattle are cutoff
in lowlands of Southern Pickens County at stages above 122 feet.
