morning with rain gauge reports indicating between 2 to 2.5 inches
of rain so far. Moderate to heavy rainfall will continue into
early this afternoon. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

AFTERNOON FOR WESTERN DELAWARE, SOUTHWESTERN OTSEGO, SOUTHWESTERN
SULLIVAN, PIKE AND WAYNE COUNTIES...
At 1247 PM EDT, Flooded roads in several locations are starting to
be reported across the area by local law enforcement especially
along Callicoon Creek. Between 2.5 and 3 inches of rain has already
fallen and moderate to heavy rain will continue into this afternoon.
Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
