am. The expected rainfall rate is 0.5 to 1 inch in 1 hour.
Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding will likely begin shortly.

At 1215 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned
area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain has fallen since 8 am. The
expected rainfall rate is 0.5 to 1 inch in 1 hour. Additional
rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in the warned area
into the early afternoon. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.
