The National Weather Service in La Crosse has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northeastern Crawford County in southwestern Wisconsin...

* Until 430 PM CDT.
    
* At 400 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 11 miles east of Harpers Ferry, or 16 miles southeast
  of Lansing, moving east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  northeastern Crawford County, including the following locations...
  Seneca, Petersburg, Rolling Ground, Gays Mills, Mount Zion, Bell
  Center and Mount Sterling.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM CDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN CRAWFORD COUNTY...
    
At 415 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 9 miles northwest of Boscobel, or 20 miles south of
Viroqua, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Gays Mills, Bell Center, Petersburg, Rolling Ground and Mount Zion.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN CRAWFORD COUNTY WILL EXPIRE
AT 430 PM CDT...
    
The tornadic thunderstorm which prompted the warning has weakened. 
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. Hail and heavy 
rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for 
portions of Crawford county til 430 pm.
