...AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT SOUTHWESTERN HAMILTON
AND CENTRAL HERKIMER COUNTIES...

At 411 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were clustered near Northwood, or
14 miles east of Boonville, moving east at 20 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Northwood, Caswell Lake, Mountain Home, Nobleboro, Wilmurt,
Wheelertown, Wilmurt Corners, Morehouseville, Hoffmeister, North
Wilmurt and Herkimer Landing.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
