* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 6 PM AKST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing 
  snow could significantly reduce visibility. The cold wind 
  chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on 
  exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The falling snow will taper off this
  evening, but the northeast winds will increase significantly
  overnight through the day on Friday. The strong winds will cause
  the snow to be resuspended, dropping visibilities to one half
  mile through Thompson Pass. Localized areas could see brief
  whiteout conditions where the winds are strongest.
