Total snow accumulations of 5 to 8 inches. NE winds 15 to 30 mph gusting as high as 45 mph. Blowing snow could reduce visibility to one half mile at times. * WHERE...Kodiak Island. * WHEN...From 1 AM to noon AKST Monday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The snow will start out light and powdery, but will become wetter as warm air starts to move in.
