.SYNOPSIS FOR THE WESTERN GULF OF ALASKA...

A 973 mb low at 58N 153W moves into Southwest Alaska at 997 mb 
and dissipates Wed night. Its front moves over the North Gulf 
Coast and dissipates by Thu afternoon. A strong North Pacific low 
approaches the Gulf by Thu afternoon. Its front moves across the 
Central Gulf by Thu afternoon.
